St. Vincent and The Grenadines (SVG) has a modern airport, Argyle International Airport (AIA), which became operational on February 14th, 2017. There is also a jetport on Canouan and smaller airports on Bequia, Mustique and Union Island. Young Island, Mayreau, Palm Island and Petit St. Vincent are only accessible by boat.
Gateways
AIA services direct flights from Heathrow, London via Virgin Atlantic on Wednesdays and Sundays. There are daily direct flights out of Miami via American Airlines plus several times weekly from Toronto via Air Canada and New York via Caribbean Airlines. Connections via Air France, British Airways, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue and US Airways are available from neighbouring islands. Additionally, an SVG Information Officer is available at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. to assist passengers in transit to SVG.
LIAT, InterCaribbean Airways and Caribbean Airlines provide scheduled services to other regional islands. Mustique Airways, SVG Air, Grenadine Airways, and One Caribbean offer regional, local charters and scheduled services between SVG’s Islands.
