These amazing mammals have won favour in the hearts of all and there is no better place than in the warm clear blue waters of the Caribbean to make your dreams come true.

You and your family can take advantage of a variety of heartwarming interactions and dolphin adventures. Have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, aboard a boat, with Atlantic spotted and bottlenose dolphins in a wild dolphin encounter. Or you can choose to swim with the dolphins as well as touch, kiss, hug and feed these lovable mammals. For the truly unforgettable experience, there are programmes that allow you to spend an entire day with the dolphins and their trainers. No matter what experience you choose, it will be truly memorable!

SHARK DIVES — For the diving experience of a lifetime – go shark diving. Imagine interacting with bull, blacktip, nurse and Caribbean reef sharks off the coasts of the islands. Experience these amazing marine creatures in a secure environment or, to the extreme, feed them.

You can admire these beautiful animals from a boat or let a trained divemaster escort you to a favourite shark hangout. If you are searching for just a little more, explore the adventures of shark diving in a cage or with special training, participate in a shark feeding.

While this is the adrenaline rush you’re searching for, it may not be the shark’s. Remember to behave like a well-mannered guest, you are the visitor in their home. A good rule to live by on any dive.

RAY DIVES — As you’re combing the Caribbean’s reefs and sandy bottom, you may happen upon a spotted eagle ray, Southern stingray, bat ray, or maybe, soaring high above you, a manta ray. Special sites such as Stingray City in Grand Cayman and Manta City in Tobago, allow divers to frolic with the rays in their natural environment – almost on command. In other areas, rays can be frequently seen and are not afraid of divers. They actually appear to seek you out for fun. If you happen upon a ray, swim up slowly or just hover to avoid sending him in another direction.

For more information on ray encounters, tap into our member country sites. And, make sure you don’t forget to pack the camera.
